This spectacular international program includes Music for Prague 1968, one of the landmark works by Pulitzer Prize-winning composer Karel Husa; the bright, colorful and Medieval-inspired Homage to Perotin; and a special arrangement of Greensleeves. The guest soloist is Debra A. Richtmeyer, professor of saxophone at the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana and one of the nation’s leading saxophone pedagogues.
